President’s Report
- Summarized major board items for upcoming year
- Reserve study
- Landscaping study
Vice President’s Report
- Told attendees how minutes are compiled, and how to view them
on the website
- Urged homeowners to become more involved
- Told homeowners to not be surprised if they receive tasking
from the board
Treasurer’s Report
- Went over the budget and financial statements
Secretary’s Report
- Reviewed his responsibilities
- Gets mail
- Keeps records of minutes
- POA representative
- Discussed recent fence work
Special Projects Officer
Passing out of ballots
- President explained the tax resolution being voted upon
- Results:
- Leona Taylor re-elected to board
- Tax resolution passes
ARC Chair
- Notes that the community has become much more cooperative
regarding ARC

- Pam Stover presents for MaryAnn Wilson

Grounds and Maintenance
- Explains the tasks and asks for volunteers
- Says we need new energy and new ideas
- Will continue to use J&M of Northern Virginia
- They do good work and we are satisfied with them, but we
need a person to keep in closer touch with them to ensure
that they keep abreast of our needs
- There is much more landscaping that we could do
- Owners spoke up that they are having a lot of trouble getting
response from Lee Fence
- Al Sanford to put in a call telling them to be more responsive

Parking and Traffic
- Options being considered for parking
- Creating more spaces (10-15 on Leebrad)
- Re-designating some spaces to get people closes to their
house
- Charging residents who have more than 2 cars
- ID stickers for everyone’s car
- Prohibition against commercial vehicles
- Empowering owners to put notices on cars
- Considering ways to limit cut-through traffic
- More speed bumps
- Temporary, moveable bumps
- Stop signs
- Some owners inquired about the possibility of having the
county give us a left turn lane onto Leestone Street off of
Backlick Road
Open Forum
- One owner offered a suggestion that 19 (10% of owners) signatures
be required before any idea can be taken to the board
