President’s Report - Summarized major board items for
the upcoming year.
- A new reserve study is in the works.
- 2001 Audit still pending.
- Landscaping study underway, still needing third bid.
- Leona announced her resignation from the Board.
- Parking committee has ended up deadlocked.
- Purchase and placement of six stop signs has been approved.
- There are a number of ARC violations still requiring Board
action.
- Names read of all those who have done volunteer work for the
Association in 2002

Treasurer’s Report
- Treasurer went over budget and financial statements.

Special Projects Officer
Elections
- President explained tax resolution.
- Anne Esquivel and Lynn Whalen nominated by nominating committee
and introduce themselves to those attending . No additional
nominations are made from the floor.
- Vote is taken.
- Tax resolution passes unanimously.
- Anne Esquivel and Lynn Whalen are elected to the board unanimously.
ARC Committee
Grounds and Maintenance Committee - Projects completed in the past year
- Replaced 500 feet of privacy fence.
- Backlick fence power washed and sealed.
- Significant tree removal.
- Aerated and overseeded selected areas.
- Sidewalk replacement in the spring of 2003
- Follow up on landscaping studies and proposals.
- Street resurfacing and patching Lower Leestone and Leestone
Court respectively.
- Review AAA trash contract and snow removal contracts.
POAA
- Betty Lillard acknowledged for her efforts as the POAA representative
for Leewood since Fall of 2002.
Welcoming
- Barbara Rollings continues to provide this role for the community
and is planning on organizing a window washing group rate again
this year.
Website
- Judy Currier mentioned Greg Bellan’s work as website manager
and recommended residents to the articles presently on the site
regarding kitchen remodeling.
Open Forum
- Board acknowledged for having snow removal contractor with
heavy equipment (Bobcat) to deal with February’s heavy snow
fall.
