August 15, 2006 Emergency Board Meeting

Minutes

An emergency meeting of the Leewood Homeowners Association Board of Directors was held on August 15, 2006 at 7040 Bradwood Court.

ATTENDEES:
Julie B. King, President
Bob Chilakamarri, Vice President
Mohammed Umar, Treasurer
Janet Rourke, At Large

The meeting was convened at 8:15 p.m. and immediately went into Executive Session to discuss proposals for a new trash contract.

The meeting was reconvened in open session at 9:45 p.m. The decision was made during the Executive Session to obtain further information and clarification about the proposals submitted by American Disposal Services (ADS) and Potomac Disposal Services (PDS).

MOTION: To reimburse Julie King for the personal funds spent to ensure continued trash service in July. Motion was seconded and approved unanimously.

MOTION: To pay AAA the remainder of the funds due for July trash service at the current rate. The motion was seconded and approved unanimously.

MOTION: To pay AAA for August service at the current rate. The motion was seconded and approved unanimously.

The Board will meet again on August 23, 2006 or sooner if possible to finalize selection of a contractor. Time and place of the meeting to be announced.
