Board Members Present:

Convening: The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm at the Phillips
School, 7010 Braddock Road, Annandale, VA 22003.
The minutes for August 2011 were review and approved.
Open Forum:
None
Officers Reports:
• President: The president stated that the part of fence
that was burned will be repaired and the tree removed. It was decided
that when the hornet nest on Leestone St. goes dormant in the winter
we will have it removed. The president discussed the trees that
are in need of attention and the board decided that at 7054 Leebrad
and 7058 Leestone that the homeowner could cut down any part that
hangs on to their property. 7035 Leebrad the Sugar Maple is dead
and would be removed. 7085 Leestone the two large oaks were looked
at by Shenandoah and Shenandoah determined that the trees are fine
and no further action required. The board discussed recycling and
that cardboard boxes are being put out the non-recycle trash day.
The tree plan was submitted. The new budget was discussed.
• Vice President: The No Thru Traffaic signs have been installed
and the fence project has been completed.
• Secretary: The secretary mentioned an article that discussed
the availability of grant monies for homeowner associations through
Fairfax County for improvements and will look into this.
• Treasurer: The treasurer reported that there are three
accounts with the attorney. As of Sept. 13th there is a total due
of $6,656.42 due.
• At Large: The Neighborhood Watch signs will be installed.

were made and approved regarding active ARC violations (Note: as
the ARC Chair, The President, Janet Rourke, does not vote on ARC
hearing decisions or other ARC matters required approval of the
Board):

Second violation notices: three
With Lawyer: Three homeowners accounts
One hearing letter was approved. Three second letters were approved.
• Report on State of Finance: no update
• Grounds & Maintenance:
Items were included in the President and Vice President’s
report.
• Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 8.42 p.m.
