Convening: The

- Minutes
from November, 2013 meeting was approved.
Closed Hearing:
A closed hearing was held at a resident's request to discuss
an ARC violation.
Open Forum:
It was proposed that we needed a central location for all
LHOA documents. Perhaps paper copies could be made digitally to alleviate
storing large amounts of boxes. The board agreed that it needed to be
investigated. An old email was presented by Maggie and it was determined that
Pat had answered it. Board members discussed trash that has been brought out
days early and recycling being placed out on Fridays even after the magnets had
gone out to the community.
Officers Report:
President:
a) Professional Grounds- need to request that
the company look at trees on fence lines, a pine that is severely leaning and
tree limbs on the ground.
b) Mills- discussed
Professional Grounds recommendation for the work.
c) Snow- Pat said she receives an email from
Professional grounds prior to a weather event. A supervisor checks the work
after the job is done.
d) 7082
Bradwood Court- asked permission to put decking on
back step. The board approved.
Vice President: Dominion Power has come out again to
place flags on stacks, white flags down and painted circles. The new plan
consists of 11 lights. As soon as the weather improves Dominion will put them
in. The board will place a notice on the message board informing Leewood of the
work. Judi will get estimates for the fencing that came down by Backlick road.
She discussed our need for board members and how she has been asking homeowners
to join.
Treasurer:
Maggie went over assessments, delinquent accounts and total fees for
2013. She said she will send another notice to delinquent houses before sending
to the attorney. Maggie also suggested possible consequences to delinquent
homeowners.
Secretary: Heather has noticed homeowners walking
with their dogs off leash, feces found in common areas and feces that were
transferred onto her recycling bin. The board discussed what could be done regarding
dogs off leashes. Heather went over three homes that have requested POAA
packets. Maggie said she would ask Bob Flynn if he would do the ARC inspection
for said properties. One of the properties asked if a buyer could have
Washington Gas put in a gas line. The board agreed that the cost would be
incurred by owner and approval would have to be received if common area would
be disturbed.
Annual Meeting:
It will be held on March 11th. Need to secure a
room with tables and chairs at the Phillips
School.
Adjournment: the meeting adjourned at 9:14.
