Reports
President- Pat said the welcomes packet has been copied and distributed.
The board agreed that we will keep the contractor list in the welcome packet
and directory. The welcome packet has been saved on a hard drive. Pat set a
deadline of Friday, April 17th to get articles into Allison for the
newsletter.
Vice President- Janet discussed pot holes, Leestone St/Ct has rippling,
and that catch basins have settled. She discussed down spouts and drainage
concerns as well. Perhaps we call the county about the storm drainage and draft
a letter. Al will get a contact for the county. Janet pointed out her concerns
over a cypress tree in the dry pond, double parking and ticketing cars that are
in violation.
Secretary- Heather repaired the fence again with screws. Will email the
adjacent homeowner concerning the fence and ask her if a police report was
filed. Heather volunteered to email David with the new board members titles and
emails to add to the LHOA website.
Treasurer- Maggie did not have report at this time. She suggested
instead of using postcards, an invoice or coupon book for the year might be a
better process. We would need to put a notice in the newsletter regarding the
changing of post cards and it would be added to the POA packet if the board was
to go this route.
At-Large- Haroon spoke about software for paying assessments
online.
Pat proposed to table this discussion for the next meeting.
Committee Reports:
ARC:
Dayna will drop off quotes for the streets and parking spot lining along with any
other grounds a maintenance to Al. Al will contact Jon from Professional about
street sweeping. The ARC walk throughs had been
completed. She spoke about 3 homeowners with pending violations. The board made
a motion for self help concerning an on going fencing violation, and it was passed.
A notice was sent to
G&M: Al Sanford proposed corner boards/rake cap made of a composite
to the board. The board said we could take a picture and put it in the
newsletter. Dayna will write something up for the newsletter. Want the next
newsletter out by May 1st. Al asked about the spring clean up. He said our community
has a problem with rats and noted it gets bad in April and May. Al suggested we
bring this up to Penny Gross and perhaps trash bins are in order. He
recommended a rat trap that can be bought at the Home Depot. Other members
discussed a certain poison.
