Renting Your Home – Overview

The Homeowners Association cannot prohibit or condition the rental of any unit.  The Association may not charge any extra fees or deposits for rental units and cannot require the owner to use any particular lease agreement or addendum.  Nor can the Association evict any tenant.

The Association may require the homeowner to provide the Association with the names and contact information of the tenants and authorized occupants under any lease and any authorized agent of the homeowner, as well as vehicle information for such tenants and authorized occupants. You may enter tenant information in My Account at sentrymgt.com on the Your Profile page The Association may also require the owner to provide the Association with the tenant’s acknowledgement of and consent to any rules and regulations of the Association.

Although your unit may be rented, you, as the homeowner, are still responsible for assessments, maintenance of the exterior of your home, and other obligations as a member of the Leewood Homeowners Association.

If you are renting your home, the Association needs to have an address to which association communications and required notices can be sent to the homeowner(s).
